Andrew Turner and Imran Sami join as Partners

LONDON – Katten Muchin Rosenman Cornish LLP, has announced the recruitment of Andrew Turner as a Tax Partner and Imran Sami as a Corporate Partner.
Andrew Turner advises on UK and international taxation issues affecting financial institutions, investment funds and inward investors on structuring transactions such as cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures, fund formation, private equity downstream transactions, real estate investment, leveraged transactions and management buy-outs.
In addition, he has considerable experience acting for corporate executives and business owners in designing and implementing investment and exit strategies, executive compensation plans and other remuneration arrangements. His experience includes advising on the UK’s largest hybrid capital issue and the first pan-European asset backed securities issue.
Imran Sami advises on a broad range of corporate, domestic and cross-border public and private M&A and equity capital markets, transactions. He has particular experience advising both investors and companies in private equity and venture capital transactions.
Imran has worked for clients in a wide range of industries and in a number of countries. A number of these transactions have won awards, including advising a contested ‘take private’ transaction of a very large UK plc and the subsequent disposal of the property portfolio.
